Tax Man

How we love the season! The bright lights! The beautiful music! The smell of crisp winds and tasty treats!

Oh, who are we trying to kid, here? Christmas is over; the New Year has been rung; we've all tried to stick to our resolutions. The only thing left is dreaded. It is feared. It is a huge annoyance, especially for those of us who are questioned relentlessly on it. Yes, it is tax season.

It's only the seventh of January and we are already exasperated by the number times "Where are your tax forms?" has been barked at us. Just like those amazingly kind folks from AARP, we look forward to the fifteenth of April as if it were a light beckoning from the end of a very long tunnel.

Tax season: oh, how we love you!

Oh dear! I haven't made my 2 pmts of 19.95!! :-)

Much sympathy on the tax season blues, here's hoping you can find some earplugs to wear at work so you can pretend to be deaf to their numerous repetitive inquiries!
